Magento 2 Seminar: New keynote and Call for Speakers
The seminar of October 21st 2016 is taking shape: Location is dealt with, we have some exciting keynotes, great sponsor line-up and the program is being put together with innovative talks. We are proud to show you the current state of this upcoming event:
New keynote: Philipp Krenn
First of all, we are thrilled to announce a third keynote: Philipp Krenn of Elastic is coming over from Vienna to tell us more about how full-text search might become a problem for your shop, and how to solve it by integrating Magento 2 with ElasticSearch. Philipp is a developer advocate at Elastic - spreading the love and knowledge of full-text search, analytics, and real-time data. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and meetups about all things search & analytics, databases, cloud computing, and devops. And we are proud to have him on board with the Magento 2 Seminar!
Call for Speakers
While we have some great keynotes, we also have about 3 hours (!) to fill with lightning talks in both the merchant track and the developer track: Short talks of 15 minutes that cover a specific topic.
Want to hear your voice? Have some Magento 2 experience worth sharing? We are looking for you and your talk, so look for details on the seminar site (Dutch) and let us know your thoughts:
We can't annouce anything yet, but we have already a couple of signups for lightning talks on various topics: Magento 2 performance; working with UIComponents; machine learning; and various real-life stories on migrating to Magento 2. More to come, so stay tuned!
