It took a bit of time, but we finished off (a draft of) our agenda for 2024: Shopware & Magento courses, bootcamps, hackathons, events and more. Take your pick.
Bootcamps only involve a single week, but multiple days - typically 4-5 days - with intense learning. The courses include access to the Yireo online videos, so if some topics are a bit hard to follow in realtime, there are sufficient resources for self-study. Plus there is the opportunity for assignments, included in the online courseware portal as well - it is just not part of the bootcamp itself, due to a lack of time.
March 4th to 7th: Magento Backend Development Bootcamp
On Monday, March 4th, we are kickstarting our first Magento bootcamp of the year: Focused on Magento backend development. It is an ideal way for newcomers to learn about DI configurations, module development (including database interactions, extension attributes) and best practices. The last similar course was held November/December last year, stretched over 2 weeks. This bootcamp is the same, except for involving only a single week.
Many more bootcamps are scheduled from Q2 onwards: Each time, a focus on a platform - either Magento or Shopware. Each time, a focus on a different expertise - either frontend or backend development. All bootcamps can be found on a separate page:

Individual trainings
Apart from the bootcamps, there will be separate live courses as well: Hyvä Checkout Development, Shopware 6 Administration Development, Magento 2 Testing. And we intend to add even more trainings in the upcoming months, to make sure the entire portfolio is covered.
Additionally, a new Magento 2 E-commerce Manager course is included. Not with me, but with Sander de Graaf as teacher, to help merchants dive deeper into the world of e-commerce.

Hackathons & events
Last but not least, the agenda also covers various events: Community events - organized by Mage-OS Nederland and other friends - but also hackathons to allow for developers from any level to play around with the code they like in a relaxed settings. This year, we are aiming to organize 4 hackathons - 2 for Magento and Shopware each.

Our agenda is filled for 2024. Take a look to see how it can match yours!
