New versions for BingTranslate extensions
August 21, 2012
We just released new versions for our BingTranslate for Joomla! extension (0.1.3) and our BingTranslate for Magento extension (0.1.8). Both extensions allow you to translate content safely from within your backend, and apply the Microsoft API to translate your content. But the Microsoft API changed, so an update was required.
Taking a breath, and .... revitalized
August 9, 2012
This summer we all have taken some time to take a large breath, after continuously working on Yireo for years. We took some time off to think about the strategy, the dos-and-donts (working 7 days a week, 10 hours a day) and the environment we're in. So here we are ... revitalized. Here are the plans.

Version 0.9.1 of Yireo Template Helper released - security update
May 27, 2012
Yesterday, we released a new version of the Yth library (short for Yireo Template Helper), a PHP-library that helps developers to create their own PHP-logic in their own Joomla! templates, without using a complex templating framework. Upgrading is advised because this version also fixes a potential security issue.
All extensions unpublished from JED? Screwed
May 24, 2012
When we thought our day could not get worse - after unpublishing MageBridge based on wrong reasons - it just got worse: All our Yireo extensions got unpublished. It seems somebody in the JED has the pick on Yireo, or simply does not under the workings of open source. Why got these extensions unpublished?
MageBridge unpublished from JED?
May 23, 2012
Our MageBridge extension has just been unpublished from the JED (Joomla! Extensions Directory). Why? Well, the reason is Uses encryption and restricts usage by license key. Obviously, that's reason enough to unpublish any extension. But does this apply to MageBridge? No, and we've had this argument already 2 times before.
Few hours before JAndBeyond
May 17, 2012
Tonight in Bad Nauheim, Germany, the international Joomla! conference JAndBeyond kicks off with a pre-party. Yireo is present. We are looking forward to tech-presentations, developer-news, social talk and of course beer. See you there!
